2014 Digital Business Survey

When it comes to digital strategy, size matters. We broke 510 respondents down by employee count: 326 hail from orgs with fewer than 1,000 employees, while 184 have more than 1,000. We found that 62% of smaller shops have digital strategies vs. 73% of large companies. And that's just the start of the disparities.

There are some interesting data points here!  Cross Channel customer activity analytical ability is dramatically better for smaller companies than large ones.  Is small = agile?

A couple of telling answers are: No money and No time to develop a digital strategy.

That hints that suppliers can ease their entry by shooting for a turnkey system as often as possible.

A no brainer, of course, but it remains a serious goal.
