Interactive Transaction Partners: Joint venture of EDS, France Telecom, US West, and H&R Block for home banking and electronic payment services. Comerica Bank-Texas and Salem Five Cents Bank in Mass. plan ITP-based services.

Visa Interactive: Established in August when Visa International acquired US Order, a screen phone manufacturer. Visa Interactive has signed up 28 banks, including NationsBank.

Novell: With the addition of the former Microsoft Money software to TaxSaver, a tax package acquired from Intuit on Oct. 13, Novell now has a line of personal financial software for the consumer market.

MasterBanking: A home banking service launched in April by MasterCard and Checkfree Corp., an online payments processor. Eleven banks, including Chemical Bank and Wells Fargo, offer the service.

First Virtual Holdings: San Diego-based startup on Oct. 17 unveiled the Internet Payment System to process credit-card transactions on the Internet. Allied with EDS for data processing and First USA Merchant Services in Dallas for card-processing services.
