Nalco Promotes Exec

Nalco Chemical Co. in Naperville, Ill., has promoted Mark Lega to division CIO and VP of IS. In his new role, Lega will oversee the $1.2 billion company's global IT operations, including the installation of new SAP financial software. A 14-year veteran of Nalco, which manufactures water-treatment and process chemicals and services, Lega was previously director of IS; he started at Nalco as a database administrator.
