Marketer Hires CIO

dvo Inc., a $1 billion direct marketer in Windsor, Conn., has hired B. Kabe Woods as senior VP and CIO. Woods joins Advo from Lucent Technologies, where he was director of end-user services. Prior to that, Woods was CIO at AT&T's multimedia ventures and technologies group, and also CIO at AT&T Advanced Technology Systems. He will be working closely with Advo's business technology partners, such as IBM Global Services, to provide corporate leadership, enhance productivity, and improve cost-effectiveness and services.
