Dalzell joins Amazon.com from Wal-Mart Stores Inc., where he was VP of the IS division since 1994, responsible for all merchandising and logistics systems; he joined the retailer in 1990. At Amazon.com, in Seattle, Dalzell will oversee all corporate networks, logistics systems, electronic buying, accounting, and data warehouse systems.
