HP Turns To Trilogy
Sales software to be rolled out soon
By
Tom Stein
HP has used software from Trilogy for several years in the United States, but never worldwide. "We have some 4,000 licenses on the configurator, but now we want to roll it out to all our partners, especially those in Japan," says Nick Nebehay, worldwide customer interaction and order fulfillment manager at HP.
Nebehay says HP may
soon extend the Trilogy software to top customers such as AT&T, allowing those customers to configure and price HP products in-house. Pricing for the Trilogy product suite, which includes SalesBuilder for configuration, SC Pricer, and SC Quote, begins at $5,000 per user, per
component.
