Repligator V6 is a graphical-effects program that runs on Windows 95/98/NT/2000. It automatically processes images to produce effects when you import the image file and press F7. The standalone program doesn't require plug-ins. Starting with a simple black-and-white image, it's easy to create a professional-looking logo for Web sites and multimedia presentations. Price: $39.

Aelita Software has released EventAdmin 4.0, event-log-management and security-auditing software for Windows 2000 and NT. It collects, consolidates, and analyzes event logs for network troubleshooting, optimization, and security auditing. It provides centralized event-log collection, 120 customizable reports, advanced analysis capabilities using Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, and automatic notification of operating or security problems. Palm Forms
Pendragon Software has unveiled version 3.1 of its forms software for the Palm platform, featuring enhanced bar coding and Internet access. Pendragon Forms brings powerful database capabilities to Palm OS organizers. It supports bidirectional synchronization with Microsoft Access and Open Database Connectivity data sources. Users with little or no programming skills can create customized database forms on a personal digital assistant. Price: $149 for a single-user license.
