The application settings are, basically, the preferences for the application itself -- the defaults for everything from how e-mail templates read to the rule size on the page to whether a document starts out in Edit 1 or Edit 2 mode. Here, you can also make the pen echo your movements directly or with a slight delay (after you've finished your stroke). The latter provides smoother ink when you write quickly.
Google in the Enterprise SurveyThere's no doubt Google has made headway into businesses: Just 28 percent discourage or ban use of its productivity products, and 69 percent cite Google Apps' good or excellent mobility. But progress could still stall: 59 percent of nonusers distrust the security of Google's cloud. Its data privacy is an open question, and 37 percent worry about integration.
