Apple has formally announced a media event for next Tuesday, October 23, and it may very well be about the iPad mini. The invitation, sent to select members of the media, shows a vague image of an Apple logo and reads, "We've got a little more to show you."It has long been rumored that Apple would introduce a 7.85-inch version of the iPad this year before the holiday season, even though the company's release cycle for the iPad typically happens in the springtime.
