Technical Chair, Ethernet Alliance

Patrick Strick is the technical chair of the Data Center subcommittee in the Ethernet Alliance, in which he has run multi-vendor interoperability events to test compatibility in the areas of 10GBASE-T, 40GBASE-CR4, and data center bridging. He is also technical marketing engineer in NetApp's data center platforms group, and is currently focusing on ways to integrate NetApp and partner technologies through joint best practices and product development. Previously, he led the technical marketing effort for Fibre Channel over Ethernet at NetApp and has more than 10 years of experience in IT and storage administration and support.
