Brian Helman designed and implemented his first production network in 1986. Over his 25+ year career he has contributed, designed, implemented, and managed networks and datacenters for Suffolk County, N.Y., Adelphi University, Northeastern University, Salem State University, and a plethora of private clients (Network Support Specialist with IBM). Since 1996 Brian has been responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the multi-campus data and video networks for Salem State University, Mass., including wired/wireless networking, security, digital signage, and access control. He holds a BA in applied mathematics and computer science from SUNY Stony Brook and an MEd in secondary mathematics from Adelphi University.
