Profile of Tony Merenda

Co-Founder and VP of Engineering, Opengear

Opengear co-founder and VP of Engineering Tony Merenda manages the hardware development operation and is responsible for distributor partnerships in APAC. Tony began his career as CTO with Stallion Technologies, a company he co-founded in 1985. There, Tony and his team developed innovative data communications and remote access hardware adapters and network appliances. Subsequently, Tony led the R&D team at ePipe, which developed a suite of patented data compression and encryption technologies. Tony was also a co-founder of SnapGear, and worked there as VP product marketing, driving managed network security appliance projects.
