Review: Shure E500PTH In-Ear Headphones

How good are Shure's new E500PTH in-ear headphones? They're "hear your favorite song for the first time" good. They're "what will I listen to next?" good. They create sound so high-quality it's at least as much fun listening to the headphones as it is to the music they're playing.

Review: Archos 104

Despite a low price, the Archos 104 has a crisp, 1.5-inch color display and Windows-like navigation. Also exemplary is the sound quality, which is crisp, balanced, and clear, and the volume is strong. It's no iPod-killer, however, and it won't be the best choice for most buyers.

Nokia Derides Qualcomm Patent Suit

Nokia hasn't seen any official legal documents regarding the suit, the company says, and adds that it holds 223 patents related to the technology in question, namely cellular data over GSM networks.

Palm Releases Updated Treo 700p

Alltel Enters 'First Of Kind' 3G Roaming Agreement

The deal will allow subscribers of Alltel's network, which operates in portions of only 36 states, to access EV-DO services throughout Sprint's nationwide network. Unlike other roaming deals, the agreement also covers voice and slower 1xRTT data service.

IOGEAR's Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset Kit is a surprisingly competent Bluetooth system for wirelessly listening to not only MP3 players, but also home stereos, home theaters and even Bluetooth-enabled cell phones. Unfortunately, like so many Bluetooth audio devices, the range is far less than advertised.
