Mike Healey is the president of Yeoman Technology Group, an engineering and research firm focusing on maximizing technology investments for organizations, and an InformationWeek contributor. Sometimes it's hard to gauge whether or not a particular technology has real interest or just the native curiosity all IT professionals have when something is 'new'.
