Stephanie has been on the InformationWeek team longer than just about everybody. During her 14-year (and counting) career at IW, she's seen all kinds of changes in the information technology industry and in the media business -- most for the better. The first story she filed from the road was done using couplers and an ancient Tandy computer -- one of three that the entire staff shared. Now she enjoys all the latest electronic gadgets and can find a business use for just about any of them. As the mother of two children with a busy job, she's mastered the art of multitasking, though some people secretly believe that her twin sister sometimes fills in for her at industry briefings, making it seem like she's in two places at one time. She lives in the Washington, DC area but spends much of her time in InformationWeek's New York offices. She's a fan of great music and great sushi. She and her family share their house with many little creatures that come home from her husband's veterinary clinic.
