Bank Is The Latest Data Loser

Great Idea, Just not not quite soon enough. People's Bank began making plans last year, when other companies lost tapes carrying customer data en route to off-site offices, to send data via encrypted electronic transmission. But last week, the bank says that a backup tape containing personal information on 90,000 customers was lost while being transported by UPS to credit-reporting bureau TransUnion.
