Bio
David Berlind has been a technology journalist for over 20 years dating back to 1991 when he started as a lab analyst at Ziff-Davis. He was the editor-in-chief at Windows Sources, the editorial director at Computer Shopper, and executive editor at CNET. In 2008, David joined UBM TechWeb as a part of the company's acquisition of Mass Events Labs -- an event production company he co-founded as a moonlighting project to launch unconferences such as Mashup Camp and Startup Camp. Since joining UBM TechWeb, David founded Cloud Connect (the company's now twice-annually produced Cloud Computing conference) and is currently the company's Chief Content Officer. David has appeared on national media such as CNN, CNBC, the Charlie Rose Show, NPR, the BBC and FOX and still publishes his own commentaries and videos on UBM TechWeb's Web sites such as InformationWeek.com and BYTE.com.
