Michelle McNickle, Associate Editor of InformationWeek Healthcare, has been covering the health IT sector for the past three years. Previously the New Media Producer for sites such as Healthcare IT News, Government Health IT, and Healthcare Finance News, she was also a Web Content Producer for similar sites owned by MedTech Media. Prior to MedTech, Michelle covered healthcare and health IT as an editor at Inside Healthcare magazine. She remains an active member of the #HIT social media space and was recently named in the #HIT100, a crowd-sourced nomination of influential individuals and organizations in the #HealthIT and #HITsm communities. Michelle received her B.A. in Journalism and Media Writing from Lasell College in 2010, where she was a Lasell College Leadership Scholar and Editor-in-Chief of the 1851 Chronicle.
