Ready for Liftoff

The United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket carrying Curiosity lifted off from the Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Nov. 26, 2011. The spacecraft is expected to land near Mars' equator at about 10:31 p.m. Pacific Time, on August 5.
