Craneware's Pharmacy ChargeLink lets hospitals ensure that drugs dispensed to patients are accurately coded, priced, billed, reimbursed, and in compliance with changing payer regulations. By sustaining a link between data in disparate pharmacy and billing systems, the software compares the purchase history for codable drugs with their charges in the charge master. By applying Craneware's comprehensive coding and compliance database to siloed data, the software lets hospital staffs correct the data and process errors that prevent and delay reimbursement for drugs. At the same time, the software helps uncover sources of significant charge-capture issues.
