Ready For Rita?
It is stunning in the aftermath of Katrina to realize how many of the basics were neglected in so many business'contingeny plans. We are hearing more stories about how many generators were quickly flooded out because they were placed on the ground floor, an issue that reportedly impacted BellSouth in New Orleans where its generators were apparently in the telecom provider's flooded basement. AT this point, all we can do is wait and see what the net impact is on businesses and the coast as a whole. And hope that businesses are truly better prepared this time around.
