I love the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog. Though overpriced, the store tries really hard to find both cool and exclusive products, many of which are just awesome toys you couldn't even imagine when you were a child. Though overpriced, the store tries really hard to find both cool and exclusive products, many of which are just awesome toys you couldn't even imagine when you were a child. One great example is a new remote-controlled robotic shark.It's two feet long, swims more or less like a real shark, and costs about $100.
The most obvious "use" for this toy is to find yourself a park where remote-controlled sailboat enthusiasts are blissfully enjoying a placid pond -- and bring on the mayhem. (A loud boom box playing the "Theme From Jaws" helps the effect.)
