The interaction with other applications is impressive and convenient. For example, hover over a date in an email message and you can check your calendar for appointments on that date; hover over a FedEx tracking number and you can get to the FedEx package tracking site. Users can create their own third-party interactions using Web services. The latest beta allows users to interact with ZCS by typing requests and through keyboard navigation. There's also some fun stuff -- customizable skins, including a World Cup version, and more "Zimlets" such as customizable flight tracker. Earlier this year, Network Computing tested the ZCS beta.
