Daniel Taylor over at the Mobile Enterprise Blog asks an interesting question: Why are few people in enterprise IT departments excited about mobile devices? Is it because device freaks see opportunity where IT managers see risk?Taylor argues that the only devices IT managers can safely feel any enthusiasm for are BlackBerry handhelds. BlackBerry PDAs, he claims, are designed with the enterprise IT manager in mind, so they are ready-to-wear.
