AT&T COO Shows Off The iPhone At CTIA
Just in case you thought the iPhone wasn't hanging out at CTIA, think again. During today's keynote addresses, the iPhone made a rare public appearance. Like a silver screen diva from Hollywood's golden age, the iPhone is a source of public hysteria wherever it goes. AT&T COO Randall Stephenson showed off the iPhone to an attentive audience during his keynote address. Stephenson said, "One million people have asked us to call when this phone is available." I'd call that a big time taunt to the rest of the global carrier market. Stephenson reminded the crowd that AT&T is not taking any advanced orders for the device as the carrier hopes to prime the pump for sales when the device ships in June. Until today, the iPhone had been in hiding since its first appearance at Macworld in January. Apple expects to ship 10 million iPhones by 2008. « How Do You Tell If A Flash Drive Is ReadyBoost-Ready? | Main | RFID Won't Be Texas Tea For Everyone » |
