Posted by Mitch Wagner, Mar 12, 2007 08:55 AM

I expected to see a lot of Macs at South by Southwest, but I didn't realize they'd be this dominant. You have to look hard to find anybody using Windows.

When you walk the halls of SXSW, you see lots of people sitting with their laptops open. I've seen dozens and dozens and dozens of Mac notebooks this way, but almost no Windows computers.

SXSW Interactive attracts designers and developers. The Mac always has been popular among designers and it's been popular among developers ever since Apple released the Unix-based OS X in 1999. 2001.
