Google Calendar Now Available For Your Cell Phone

Posted by Stephen Wellman, May 25, 2007 04:33 PM

Google this week released a mobile version of its Calendar tool. Sign up is easy: Just go to calendar.google.com from your mobile phone and the application should work on your phone.

From the official Google Blog:

Just visit calendar.google.com from your phone, and you'll see your agenda of upcoming events, complete with details like date, time, location, description, and guest list.

This is just another sign of Google's commitment to mobilizing all of its applications, including Google Maps. Google has been talking up mobile all year and it clearly sees its global future on the third screen.

I tried it on my Treo and it worked well, but I have not yet had a chance to try it on a feature phone. Have any of you accessed Google Calendar on your cell phone yet? If so, how did it work?
