Google Tests Mobile Version Of AdSense For The U.S.

Posted by Stephen Wellman, Jul 15, 2007 11:27 PM

Last month I blogged that Google was testing mobile ads in South Korean. Now it looks like Google has expanded this trial to include mobile ads for U.S. partners. I told you mobile Google ads were on the way.

Here is Google's invitation to AdSense partners looking to go mobile:

As part of our efforts to develop new and improved AdSense products for our partners, we will begin a limited beta test for AdSense for mobile. AdSense for mobile allows publishers to monetize their mobile websites through the placement of targeted text ads. Publishers can take advantage of the fast-growing mobile advertising market and benefit from our targeting technology.

In addition, Google launched a FAQ for partners testing mobile ads.

How many of you marketers our there are currently testing mobile ads with Google? And how many plan to in the next three months?
