If The iPhone's Not A Business Tool, How Come It Runs Etelos CRM Suite?

A lively discussion is brewing over that question in our discussion forum, with some iPhone lovers saying it was NEVER intended to be a business tool, while other equally devoted iPhoners are saying it's a PERFECT business tool.And while it is clearly and unquestionably a consumer product, those zealots who say it is not and never will be a business device will have to answer why some heavy apps such as CRM suites are being ported over to the most talked-about phone since the one in Maxwell Smart's shoe.
Software maker Etelos says its new Etelos CRM for IPhone, using the Safari browser, "gives users contact, task, group, sales and project management, as well as group messaging and reporting functionality" and is available immediately for Etelos CRM Professional, Enterprise, and Developer editions. The company said a 24-hour test drive is available to iPhone owners at www.crmforiphone.com.
