Make Your Own iPhone From Paper Or Sand
The author of the blog paper art gadgets shows in this 30-second video how he made a miniature iPhone out of folded paper. < The video shows how he made the pattern on his computer, printed it out on paper, cut it out, and folded it, touching the model up with white paint and spray gloss. He made a miniature reproduction of the iPhone itself, its cradle, and the striking iPhone box and black envelope containing documentation.
And this North Carolina beachgoer made an iPhone out of "pre-silicon" - sand. The creator, Chris, told Boing Boing: "The sand iPhone attracted quite a crowd, although none were willing to buy it at my asking price ($599 plus service, of course)."
