A Look At Google Android Running On Prototype Hardware

Posted by Stephen Wellman, Dec 12, 2007 03:25 PM

Still anxious to see what Google's Android will actually look like? While we've yet to see any Android-powered phones, Japanese wireless company Willcom has shown a prototype of hardware running Google's mobile OS. Check it out.

The demo includes a section where the Android device is multitasking -- the device receives a phone call while running Google Maps.

What do you think? We've already seen a glimpse of what Android might look like on an iPod Touch. How long until we see the OS running an entire phone?
