Google Registers Weird Domain Names
Is Google getting into the burrito business? Why else would the company register bayareaburritos.com and thesecretofburritos.com?Is Google getting into the burrito business? Why else would the company register bayareaburritos.com and thesecretofburritos.com?Pingdom sent me a link to a blog post about strange domain names registered by Google.
Many of the domains are obviously registered to prevent squatters, but a lot of them, such as the burrito domains, are downright puzzling.

That said, my home region of upstate New York sorely lacks a good burrito infrastructure. I'd love to see Mr. Page and Mr. Brin put some time and cash into finding a way to use the Internet to transport my favorite Mexican food from Berkeley to my desk via a Web browser.
And for the record, I hereby officially coin the acronym BaaS (Burritos as a Service).
