Xerox Targets SMBs With Five New Printers
InformationWeekXerox has unveiled five new printers, including two multifunction printers (MFPs), for SMBs challenged "to do more while spending less."The new products are the $279 Phaser 3100MFP, which in addition to copying and scanning, prints at a rate of 21 pages per minute (ppm); the $279 Phaser 3250, which prints up to 30 ppm and is geared for individual users or small workgroups; the $549 Phaser 3600 laser printer, which prints up to 40 ppm and includes a warranty that can be extended to three years; the networked $1,799 Phaser 3635MFP, which prints 35 ppm and includes security options; and the $1,999 Phaser 5550 laser printer, which prints 50 ppm.
"Xerox's portfolio of technology gives these businesses an array of choices to fit the way they work without breaking the bank," said Russell Peacock, president, Xerox Office Group, in a statement.
