Bloggers To Enlighten The World Come Jobs' WWDC Keynote

Without mobile broadband, the world of all things Apple would seemingly go dark on Monday, June 9, between 10 a.m. and noon, during Steve Jobs' keynote address at the WWDC. Why dark? Because there will be no live video or audio broadcasts of the event. Instead, we'll have to rely on the hard-working, on-site bloggers to break all the news.

MacRumors is reporting that there will be no live video or audio broadcast of the event. It says that after the keynote concludes, Apple will post a Quicktime stream of the keynote to be watched on demand. If you want blow-by-blow announcements of what transpires during the keynote, you're going to have to rely on bloggers using the best that mobile technology has to offer to spread the word.

MacRumors goes on to say that it will be on-site, and will provide regular updates via its Web site, as well as via Twitter. It also is going to provide news updates via SMS to Apple junkies who aren't near a computer. You can be assured that Engadget and Gizmodo, among other blogs and sites, will send their best live blogging teams to the keynote to report on the news. They'll write numerous posts and accompany all text with live images captured during Jobs' presentation.

All of this will be powered by mobile technology, including laptops, wireless broadband, and cell phones.

Since we won't be on site, InformationWeek's Over The Air blog will provide a meta live blog based on what other sites report. We're looking forward to what Jobs has to say.
