Pictures Of BlackBerry Thunder Found

RIM's fabled touch screen device just became a bit more real. Pictures of the BlackBerry Thunder have been sighted on the Internet, and they look pretty good.

The recent subject of an all-out Clash of the Geek Titans, the BlackBerry Thunder is less of a rumor and more of a reality today. CrackBerry.com has found what it says are images of the device.

Plainly visible in the image is the Thunder's software QWERTY keyboard. It may not be all that pretty, but there it is. The rest of the device is somewhat hard to make out. There are four buttons along the bottom that resemble buttons from other BlackBerrys.

The pictures do not provide any insight to how the device operates.

CrackBerry.com makes some assumptions, and writes, "The images ... provide further confirmation that the Thunder's operating system will still rely heavily on the BlackBerry menu button for key functions and advanced options vs. putting all options on the main screen."

I am sure RIM's designers and engineers will do everything possible to port their devices' business usability to this new form factor. The question remains, just how effective will they be?
