The Instinct Gets A Software Update
The latest software update offers a host of improvements, including: - Elimination of issues by where data services are disabled without user preference. Additionally, Sprint said this will pave the way for August updates to many of the applications including SprintTV, Sprint E-Mail, and more. I really liked the Instinct and felt it offered a different, not necessarily better experience than the Apple's handset. I only wish Sprint's marketing team would have marketed it as "different," instead of positioning it as an iPhone Killer. In other Sprint smartphone news, it looks like the Palm Treo 800w will be getting a software update as well. The Windows Mobile device will reportedly be getting voice dialing over Bluetooth headsets soon. For those unfamiliar, the Treo 800w has integrated Wi-Fi, assisted GPS, a full QWERTY keyboard, 3G capabilities, and Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities. It's shaped more like a Centro, and it's a fairly good phone for mobile professionals. « The Reality Of Private Clouds | Main | Radware Reveals Critical Vulnerability In Firefox 3 » |
