Was There Really A Fist Fight Over The BlackBerry Storm?

Over a cell phone?Reuters posted a piece this afternoon about how Verizon Wireless customers are lining up at retail stores across the country to buy the new BlackBerry Storm. Apparently at one midtown Manhattan location, a "ruckus" broke out. Really? Over a cell phone? Here is exactly what Reuters is reporting on the matter:
More than 200 people had waited at a Verizon store in midtown Manhattan early in the morning, many of whom were turned away after it ran out of the new phones less than an hour after opening at 8 a.m. The angry customers caused a ruckus and police came to restore order.
Unfortunately the story doesn't provide any more detail about exactly what the "ruckus" was. Were fisticuffs involved? Did anyone throw a punch? Did anyone pull a Hulk Hogan and body slam someone? Unless witnesses come forward, we'll never know. If it was severe enough a ruckus that the police were called, I have to imagine that it was not a pretty scene.

I reported seeing a line at a Verizon Wireless retail store around 8 a.m. this morning. The Reuters story mentions that lines have been reported at various Verizon Wireless retail stores around the country.
Looks like the Storm is taking the country by storm!
