And even though we haven't met him or her yet, we're sure we're gonna love the new National CTO. Whoever gets the job will signal a new commitment to technology as a key force in moving the country forward. I'm ready to pin a corsage on whoever it turns out to be.
Like anything worth loving, Wi-Fi On A Plane comes at a cost. No, I'm not talking about the $9.95 fee, I'm talking about the loss of private time. For many busy travelers, that airline seat represented the last refuge of unreachability, the only place they could think, read something other than their email, and not have to worry about missing a key message from the office. We'll, you can kiss that goodbye, but on the plus side, now you won't have to miss that message. Plus you can do all kinds of other work so you don't land to face unresolved crises and anxious customers. You gotta love that, right?
