WES 2009: QuickPlay Media Brings Prime Time To BlackBerries

If you've been hankering for a hunk of prime time television on your BlackBerry device, QuickPlay Media's PrimeTime2Go is the app for you.One thing mobile professionals may not get a whole lot of is time in front of their TVs. Busy with hectic travel schedules, it is easy to fall out of the loop. If you'd like to be able to download the latest episodes of your favorite show and watch them on your BlackBerry, be sure to check out PrimeTime2Go.

PrimeTime2Go is an application (currently supporting the BlackBerry Bold and Curve 8900) that can be downloaded from Apps World. It requires a monthly subscription fee of $7.99. That gives BlackBerry users access to a bevy of downloadable content for their devices.

Once programs are downloaded (via Wi-Fi or over the cellular network) users can view them as many time as they wish until the viewing period expires. PrimeTime2Go didn't say what the viewing period will be, though it appears as it may be show or network dependent.

Other key features of the software let users select a TV series and have new episodes automatically downloaded to their device. It also has a pause and resume, which allows consumers to pause a program, exit the application and then resume viewing from where they left off upon re-entering the service.

For the road warrior who wants to stay in touch with his or her TV when traveling, PrimeTime2Go offers an alternative.
