It has been a long while since I've seen a new product that has completely blown me away, but tonight I saw just such a beast.  At the Oracle booth here at Enterprise 2.0 I had a chance to get a short look at Oracle's "Social CRM" applications built on top of Oracle Fusion Middleware.  IMHO the "killer-app" among the three they demonstrated was something called "Oracle Sales Library."   The idea behind OSL is to enable organizations to create a repository for their PowerPoint presentations, and enable individuals to use social computing capabilities to support creation of new presentations.

Users upload their presentations to OSL, which then splits the file into individual slides.  Any user can tag, rate, or annotate the individual slides.  Those looking to create presentations scroll through the existing slide base via a user interface that looks a lot like Apple's "Cover Flow".   To build a new presentation, you simply drag the slides you want into a folder, OSL does the rest.  (See: http://www.oracle.com/profit/apps_strategy/031808_web2crm.html)

For those of us who live in PowerPoint and who spend countless hours looking through old presentations (both ones we create as well as ones created by our colleagues) to create new presentations, this is a godsend.  Oracle expects the application to be available later this year.
