Virtualization solution provider VMware is launching VMware Professional Services, an education and training program to help customers create virtual machines.In one program, the VMware Desktop Infrastructure Jumpstart service, a certified VMware trainer provides onsite training for up to five members of a company or IT staff -- VMware described the service as designed for offices with 10-25 desktops. Larger companies can make use of the Plan and Design for VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Application Virtualization service, which provides assessment of a customer's objectives and creates a custom plan and management guidelines.

VMware is also offering a Remote Office/Branch Office Services Acceleration Kit to help simplify the process of optimizing customers' VMware Virtual Infrastructure in remote offices.InformationWeek, The Register
