Although Building Two houses about 35 workers, its cavernous hallways and chambers can make it seem almost deserted. Here, Michael Kirkland, Facebook's manager of communications for engineering and infrastructure groups, works in Prineville's open office space. The Prineville area gets a lot of sunny days throughout the year; electricity for this space is provided by a solar array next to Building One.
