Many touch functions -- such as swiping, scrolling and answering calls -- can be accomplished by simply passing a hand or a finger near the surface of the display without actually touching it. This "Air Gesture" functionality, as Samsung calls it, can be enabled and disabled separately from other touch and gesture functions.
