Samsung: Scattered Havoc.
Samsung's loss would not be a big one. It might make great phones, but there are plenty of companies that make drop-in substitutes. The real problem with Samsung and many other East-Asian conglomerates is that they are involved in a diverse collection of industries. Samsung does insurance, chemicals, hotels, resorts, and large-scale engineering. Probably all over the world business in almost any sector would be disrupted. But not so much in computers and consumer technology.
