I'm a legal secretary who would like to break into the technology field with a bachelor's degree in IS management. I've just started college. What jobs are available for a college graduate in IS management who has no experience in the technology field?

More than you can imagine! All you have to do is pick up the classified section of a Sunday newspaper and look at the college-entry section in information technology. Not only are companies scrounging for newly minted graduates with IS degrees, but they're now targeting those that have degrees in other concentrations because of an inability to find entry-level technologists to fit within their companies. Complete your B.A. and make sure you attend all of the campus recruiting efforts.

More Questions:
I'm in the military. What are my chances of landing a decent-paying IT job in the civilian world without any formal certifications or education?

I'm a project leader/systems analyst with no degree. How can I advance financially while staying technical?
