I've been working as a network administrator for three years. I am trying to improve my skills in information systems. My bachelor's degree is in political science. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in computer information systems. I started to pursue the Novell CNE certification and have obtained my CNA. Do you think I should continue with the CNE program or switch to Microsoft's MSCE certification? Do you see one certification as more valuable than the other?

You've already begun the CNE process. Complete it. They're both valuable. I see just as much demand for CNEs as I do for Microsoft¹s MSCE certification. Both are extremely marketable.

More Questions:
I've been in consumer products sales for 10 years and would like to move over to IT. What fields would you recommend?

I am in my third job, but concerned that I'm not expanding my detailed technical skills. What should I do?
