EMC's Decho Gets CEO
Harel Kodesh gets to pull double duty as Decho CEO and president of EMC's cloud business.
EMC yesterday announced that Harel Kodesh will lead Decho, EMC's online storage and personal digital information management platform. Decho, which stands for "digital echo," is a combination of two EMC acquisitions: Mozy and Pi.
Kodesh also will serve as president of EMC's Cloud Infrastructure Business. He comes to EMC from Amdocs, where he was chief product officer. He's also a former Microsoft VP and founded the Windows CE operating system.
So far, online storage is Decho's only publicly available offering. EMC hasn't released a timetable for other products.
