The advent of cloud computing technology has led to a big buzz within enterprises, as well as increased demand for cloud-savvy IT professionals.

In fact, an April report from IDC finds that spending on cloud IT infrastructure will total about $32 billion this year, an increase of 21% from 2014. All told, cloud accounts for about a third of all IT infrastucture spending.

With this much money being directed at cloud computing, businesses' need for staff with cloud skills has led to an increased number of training courses related to the field. In particular online courses, which provide valuable skills in the learner's preferred environment, have gained a lot of interest from many professionals because of the flexibility they offer.

There are many online cloud computing courses that can help you attain relevant skills to bolster your resume. The time required to complete these courses varies from as little as a few minutes up to eight weeks, with six to eight hours of weekly effort spent on learning. Most courses offer salient features like instructional videos and quizzes to make the learning interesting and provide guidance to candidates to ensure skill building.
