Where on earth did you get the idea that Internet Explorer 7 was anything but another rogue browser ("The Fight Is On," Oct. 16)?

I've been testing IE7 and Firefox for more than a year. I like IE7's snappy looks, but everything else leaves much to be desired and leaves a developer and trainer like myself screaming, "Standards, please!"

I know copyright is a big danger, but the real danger is that once YouTube's users realize that Google won't stand for pirated material, they'll go elsewhere ("Google Sees The Future Of Web Video," Oct. 13).

In "Forget Viruses; Data Is Where Security's At, Symantec Says," McAfee plans to tie acquired compliance-auditing and anti-malware software into ePolicy Orchestrator and next year will add vulnerability management, policy compliance, and data protection (Oct. 16).
