re: Xbox SmartGlass Could Save Windows Phone, Tablets
Paul finally gave Microsoft credit for innovation. In spite of what the nay sayers are saying, I already knew that Microsoft is up to something. I had already predicted that WP 7 will sell. It just takes some innovation to get to that. Microsoft has always been a game changer, and that is why I will stick with their products. Of course, I would not shy away from other products, but MS is my default. That said, I'm happy that Google, Apple, and others begin to challenge Microsoft. Why? Because the Redmonder will continue to improve their products in order to remain relevant. I have invested a lot of my time and money in MS technology, and I am not jumping ship now, especially, when I'm currently making money with their technology.
MS market is huge around the world, and I will always find my niche among those techs! Right on Balmer, you have just debunked the nay sayers that you had no plan. I love .NET, SQL Server Azure platform, WP7. And by the way, I do use Linux too. And to be honest, I find Linux much easier to use than Windows platform. It is just that I happen to specialize in area where I can make money from consumers! And that is on Windows platform!
